Going to attempt to clear headlights
hey XxOLYxX, GOOD LUCK!
I hope that it goes well for ya. The first one is harder than the second one.
I wasn't 100% sure on what I was doing, and I was kinda scared to mess it up
to the point of no return. but all went well. when I did the second one I knew what
I was doing and I did it about 3 times faster than the first one. both came out nice.
Slvr2k2,
It depends where you are. some states its legal to have clear as long as you have an amber bulb
other places allow you to have white or anber, other places are 100% legal no matter what (I think)
I currently have clear corners with bluish PIAA's and I've been fine so far.

Well I did mine the past 2 days off and on and will install them finally on the car tomorrow. Tearing my new car apart was the scary part but my biggest problem was getting the 4 screws out of the headlights on the inner side of the car bad spot, and its in there good. But did one headlight a day sealed them well with lots of sealant and hopefully they will work out. First one went well, 2nd was more interesting popping the orange out took a sliver of the chrome out but did a little touch up and it looks all right, then had to really make sure the headlight was clean of debris and stuff. The headlights seem to be holding really well so tomorrow will be put the car back together, and wait for my PIAA Extreme turn signals to get here and my replacement PIAA Wedge Parking light bulbs, then it will look good. Take your time I took more time than most people so I lost track of how long it took.
Once they are done its well worth it, but I taped that black stuff so it wouldn't get all over found rubbing alcohol worked all right too

LOL nahh its not too bad, I was really scared too but then Tues after mid terms I rewarded my self by going for it. I talked to the dealer first Tues while I was over checking out the new SI and he said it wouldn't void my warranty. But the places where I bought it in Oregon said I would void the headlight, but I don't believe the guy he had to ask some other guy everything. So I did it.

Hey guys, Didnt clear my lights the exact day that i posted this due to weather, but today i finnly did, finished up about half hour ago or so, and it came out quite alright, no big problems, cept for a lil black stuff that i didnt catch at the very corner of the light, but its barley noticable, other than that, things went perfect, now to just replace the signal lights cause the stock ones mess up the whole look when you have piaa superwhite bulbs in the parking lights and main headlight, heh was nervous at first taking out the bumper and what not being i only had the car for about a month now, but i had already put in a injen SRI so didnt think to bad of it, anyways ill have pics up soon

clearing your headlights is so easy. me and a friend did it last week. just take your time doing the headlights themselves. and make sure to use enough silicone. and good luck. and look at my ride in the members rides. i have a picture in there without the bumper on and it looks bad a$$
Don't worry, not that hard. All I can tell you is when I did my headlights and I accidentaly broke one of the plastic pieces that holds the clips, I was scared to go any furthur. I did it anyway and sealed them good and now my car looks twice as good. All I can tell you is that you need to take your time and when you pry the two pieces of the headlight apart, get a flathead and pry it between the two pieces and push the screw driver towards the black backing. Hope this helps!
