i was thinking about this oil change trying some royal purple or ams oil, i was wondering, does nayone have any brand suggestions that they like more then others? also, should i stay with the oem 5w20 or are most running a 5w30 or something, i dont need the oil pressure cuz im not vtec...

I just use some bootleg Penzoil 5w20. It's only a civic after all.

cool, im looking for suggestions performance wise, i usually run castrol syntec 5w20, im thinkin bout trying roayl purple, just wanted to see if anyone is doing someting different

just done use penzoil, its junk, it creates sludge and engine build up, use something of better quality like gtx or something synthetic, it will last longer and wont break down as quickly, royal purple might be overkill tho
