NEED HELP INSTALLIN PEDALS
hey wassup...i used the search feature and i wasn't able to find anything that really helped me in what i was lookin for...i was just wonderin if anyone can give me instructions or a DIY on how to install my MATRIX INDIGLO PEDALS?
they didnt come with any instructions???
i bought the indiglo pedals too...this is how i put them on.....: I used the screw's given to tighten them on...then put the power wire to my radio fuse(posible #18) to run power to them. This way, they will be on whenever the radio is activated, which is whenever there is power to the car.
yea, you can hook it up to the headlights. You have 3 options on how to do that that I know of:
1.) Splice into the headlight bulbs wire. (I think that's the best and most accurate way to do it)
2.) Wrap the power wire around the headlight fuse, and then put the fuse shove the fuse back in the slot you originally took it out of. (I don't know how safe it is to do it like that, but that's the way I did it with mine using the radio fuse though; and mine has been working fine for a long while)
3.) Take the headlight bulb out of it's socket, and wrap the wire around one of the coils in the socket; then shove the bulb back in. Be sure to leave some slack, or when you put the light bulb back in, the wire will be pulled out. (Once again, I'm not too sure on how safe it is to do it this way, but I had my windshield washer lights done like that, and they worked fine. I also have wired my strobe lights to the reverse bulbs the same way, and they also are working great.)
If none of these ways don't work, then I have no other ideas on how to do it; but I have did all of the above ways with different lights, and nothing was ever destroyed or damaged in any way.
