How the hell do you take off the shift ****??!!

IT MAY SOUND LIKE A DUMB QUESTION:HOW DO YOU TAKE THE SHIFT **** OFF?[IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif[/IMG]IVE BEEN TYING TO FIGURE THIS OUT FOR TH EPAST SIX MONTHS...HELP!!!

OMG...Grab the silver ring around the bottom, pull it down so it detaches from the shift ****, unscrew the ****.

Just squeeze that silver ring (hard) and jerk downward. It will come right off, then you should be able to figure the rest out. If not, here's a hint. Twist the **** off the shaft. Oh yeah - counterclockwise.

automatic or manuel spyder? the posts befor me cover manuel transmission. and that is correct . is your honda automatic?
