Find one of gearbox's posts, they are every where, and send him a pm. That should do the trick.

Re: Help!! Can't remove U-clip!!

get some needle nose pliars and open them up (sticking them perpendicular to the opening)

then kinda have one edge of the pliars to the anchor and the other edge of the pliars to the opening edge of the pin

Re: Help!! Can't remove U-clip!!

i use a small flat head screw driver. slide it in and then twist the screwdriver, this causes the clip to open up, then using a pair of pliers, use the pin as a leverage point for one jaw of the pliers and use the other end to slide the clip off of the pin completely. give it a few tries and youll get it out. just be sure to replace the clip with a new one when you go to put it together.

if hes gunna have to replace it might as well rip that thing right off That would totally do it but i think he just wants to reuse it..i forgot the name of the tool i used in transmissions class to take the clips out of the axles andcrap someone has to know it was something like a backwards needle plier something like that

Re: Help!! Can't remove U-clip!!

That clip is a cast-iron 90 MPH bull dyke bitch.

It took me an hour to remove the first one... get a big set of end nippers or a dremel and rip the MFer off, a new one is like a buck.
