98 Civic Alarm wouldn't shut off & won't start-Help me
The alarm was going off on my 98 Civic LX and the remote wouldn't shut it off.
Chgd the batteries in the remote. Took fuse out so alarm wouldn't sound. Could not get it to start. So jumped it to bypass and then had to manually put it in gear. Do you know why and how to fix problem?

well for now, you can just disconnect the alarm from the batt to disable it so you can start the car. not really sure what it could be, maybe stripped wire or something or the brain failed.
