installing kaminari kit

i was wondering if i should put silicone on my kaminari kit
because it looks real easy to ripped the kit off my car
i dont want my kit to get jacked
but if i put silicone i dont think i can take it off without ruining my factory paint job if i wanted to sell the kit later in the future
can anyone with bodykits tell me if they used silicone or something else to hold the kit ?

i used a black strip of silicone around the edges of the kit on my blue civic. it looks fine. I don't think it will ruin the paint, it can be rubbed off pretty easily but if you don't want to take any chances then don't do it. I think it gives the kit a cleaner look because you don't see edges of the kit.

Silicone sealant will break down under UV exposure....so you'll have to replace as a maintenance issue if you plan on keeping the car....then you'll have to remove it......I wouldn't recommend doing it.......!!!!!
