front lower control arm suspension bushing replacement
front lower control arm suspension bushing replacement
Hey guys, I'm new here, so if I post anything "wrong" so to speak, don't flame me. Anyways, I have an 01 Civic coupe LX, and the front suspension bushings need replacement. I have the parts in hand, and I can almost remove the LCA, but i have problems disconnecting the LCA from the shock tower unit. The service manual says it requires a special tool (its like the jaws of life, except it works the other way, is a lot smaller, and uses a wrench to work, sorry for bad analogy). Of course, I want to avoid buying special tools, so I was wondering if any of you know how to removing the LCA from the shock tower without special tools. Thanks in advanced.
