2006 power outlet for cigaratte lighter

Can someone help me. My Power outlet cigarette lighter fuse on 2006 Civic has blown. I looked at the schematic on the Civic book, but unable to locate it. I don't get any power to the source. I blew it trying to adjust an Ipod accessory.

i had the same problem, using the ipod accesory. 100% it is 27 or 28 just pull it out and see if it blown.

You are right about the fuse. I don't know who did the design for the location of the fuse box but they couldn't have found a more difficult location. There are two fuses in that row of the same value and it is the left one.

On the 7th gen models under dash fuse box, there is a single bolt at bottom that is removed and then the fuse box will somewhat drop down for easier access.

Your 8th gens may be similar ??

Some 12 volt plugs will cause shorts when inserting/removing causing the fuse to blow.
