well, stock honda lug nuts have a rounded end on them, not a taper like 95% of all other manufacturers. stock honda lugs are not useable with aftermarket wheels. i'm looking for lugs for aftermarket wheels.

Does your wheels have a center cap that covers the lugs? If so, than it wont fit. Thats the reason I'm selling because the cap wouldnt close for my racing harts c5s.

no they don't. all i'm worried about is if the ends are rounded like honda lugs or 60 deg taper. can you tell me that?

One on left is the one im selling. One on right is the factory honda lugs. I dunno much about lugs, so its your call.

that's kind of what i figured. see that band around the honda lug, that's what happens when you put a rounded lug on a tapered wheel. instead of the weight being distributed over the whole area, it's concentrated on a thin band. if you've got aftermarket wheels, you CANNOT use honda lugs. it's dangerous and you're risking breaking something or the wheel coming off.

the ones you're selling are good for aftermarket rims. the honda lugs are not. it looks like you used your honda lugs on aftermarket rims which caused that thin band on the lug.

i'm still debating on buying these. is the wrench included some type of wierd shape such that it would be like having lock nuts on? or would i still need to get a set of lock nuts?

You can use your factory wrench with the lug locks. Just use the lug key to tighten it up

no, what i'm asking is does that key act as a security device? meaning, is it distinctive, or is is a standard torx bit or something and i'll still need to get locking lug nuts like these:

YES, it is a lug lock set. You have to have the lug key to open the lugs
