Anyone have any experience with the Skunk 2 Short Shifter?

I've been researching on various short shifters availiable for em2's, and have come to a point of indecision.
I've read that the B&M has problems with rubbing parts, but overall is a good shifter.
The revo seems to be most popular, but users have also expressed a failure of the shifter to bend under high stress, forceful shifting.
So began my search for alternatives! I came across the Skunk 2 short shifter, and i have a few questions...it seems not to have a plastic or metal base like the revo OR the b&m, and its seems to lack a mounting point for the cables....
Now I'm a beginner to DIYs and car customization, so am i missing something here? am i not seeing the full kit? does the skunk 2 directly bolt into the stock plastic base? what do i use as a mounting point for the cables?

You forgot about the buddy club short shifter. I was going to go with that but found a good deal on the revo. My buddy has the b&m along with grey's kit and capyoda shifter bushings and his shifter is tight and stiff with no play at all. I like my revo but still get a lil side to side play thats starting to annoy me but nothing major. It functions just fine and the shift is much shorter than stock. I cannot vouch for skunk 2 short shifter but I know the b&m is quality and the revo is a good kit too. Like I said I was gonna go with buddy club bc the rsx guys praise that one too but I found a good deal on the revo and don't regret my purchase.
