What turbo, Piping and incooler to go with? D17 Guys HELP

What turbo, Piping and incooler to go with? D17 Guys HELP

OK as everyone knows i built in intake manifold and i am turboing my car but i dont know what size piping to go with since i have a 75mm throttle body or what incooler to go with. I was thinkning a T4 turbo and 2.5 inch piping that i can have bent. I need help let me know what u guys think

So no more all motor? Unless you got 2 projects going on. Can a T4 turbo fit our little d17 that's pretty big no? 2.5 inch piping should fit fine if routed correctly and dezod's bar plate intercooler has been tested and proven to flow better than his previous design. Good luck with your setup.

Also check out Supermex's piping design because he is also using an intake manifold that I imagine will look similar to yours.

a T4? uhhhh you might want to rethink that one.
Just have an IC custom made and then make the pipes.... thats the only way its gonna fit right.

i agree unless its a full out race build the t4 isnt going to spool fast enough. i think a t3/t4 super 60 would be great or a gt28r. the super 60 will be much cheaper though. you can buy prebent i/c pipes and cut them to fit. this will be the easiest to route custom piping. and 2.5" i think may be a little much the largest i would go is 2.25". the larger the diameter the more time it will take to build full boost...
