k20A3 forced induction
as the title says. wondering if there are any supercharged or turbo k20A3 7th gens on the site? did a search but all i found was TransformedBG's thread. doing the swap to a 05 EX in May. obtaining a friends base motor for free while he gets a type r for his RSX.
yea good question bro i was planning the same a3 swap next summer with plans to supercharge or turbo kit. This way I could possibly build a motor that makes more power than the the a2, while saving a lot more money seeing how the a2 is dirt cheap.

There's a thread with someone doing a k20z1 swap + boost into a 7th gen. I remember the car was white/ a white EM2. Trying searching k20z1. I'd find the link for you but its early and I have to get ready for work. Good luck.

The z1 is kinda in the same boat as the a2, and I believe the OP wanted an a3. One of the old SOCKS members had an a3 superchargered in his black coupe... but I cant remember who it was.

y go with the a3? once i save up enough money i'm gonna go with the k24/a2 frank which will yield more whp and tq than an a3 with a supercharger... and the frank can be cheaper than the a3...

that was drivetofast. he currently has a sleeeved k20a2 block with upgraded pistons(11:1) and rods. he just put his SC on and needs to get tunned, he's going to get some SC'd cams soon
I ask about base swaps before and didnt get a good reception here but still, if you get it free it should be pretty good with the right kit. A turbo would def turn out a lot of power but even the jackson racing idea would give you a fun ride for a good price. I always liked the a3 with boost...its not as bad as everyone makes it out to be and thought not great def owns a d engine...
not saying that the a3 is bad... but..
cost: a3+kpro+sc > k24/a2 frank + kpro
performance: a3+kpro +sc < k24/a2 frank+kpro
if you're getting a good deal on the a3.. y not.. go for it
