will my car mess up if......
i disconnected my exhaust at the cat and was wondering if it would hurt my car in any way. i need your help if you can help me. if youve done this let me know what happened and help out a kid in need. thanks for the help.
Not true....If you disconnect it allowing direct acces up to inside the header...after driving any extreme cold air or water if it gets up there you run the risk of possibly warping the valves.
please, please read my posts in this thread... they answer the questions
You won't lose power, and your valves will be ok as long as you leave the cat on... did you remove b4 or after the cat.... if b4, just stuff a rag in the outlet when you shut the car off to stop the air from entering
