1000 mile mark
1000 mile mark
Guys,
I reach the 1000 mile mark this past weekend while I was camping up state. Car did real nice on the mountains and twisties and the gas mileage was great. Came back with a half a tank and on my scooby impreza, I used to come back almost empty.
Update on the alignment. For some reason it feels the car has reverted back to the way it was before they supposedly corrected the alignment. I might have to bring it to another dealership to see what they come up with.
Other than that, the car is great.
Oh, no one ever confirmed that the gap between the rear tires and fender is larger than the gap between the front tires and fender. Can someone please confirm.

Hey, thanks for checking my since you have an SI 2 door and I have a LX 4 door, they might not be the same.
I have noticeable differences between the front and rear gaps that can be seen from a distance.
It makes me a little nervous as it tells me something is either not right with either front of back suspension or the dealer did something to the car before I purchased it, maybe even fixed a slight accident on the car if it was hit or damaged during transport or damaged when it came off the truck.

i'm almost willing to put money on the fact that it's normal... take into consideration that you have the lx sedan... have another person look at an lx sedan and then an ex sedan but my guess is that you have a little taller suspension in the rear to compensate for possible load in the rear since it's a sedan... this way, you can load the trunk down and not worry about your tires rubbing in the rear or anything.. and still have a nice ride
