c/a intake help

i installed a c/a intake last night on an lx, i connected the air flow sensor ( or what looks to be that sensor ) into the intake. check engine light on.. any help?

Make sure you plugged it in as far as it will go. I've heard of many people getting the check engine light...

its a temp. sensor isn't it?

yeah check the cable this happened with me b/c when I put mine on I disconnected it from the harness to work on something underneath, and I didn't re-attach it like a doofus (it was 1 a.m. and I was drinkin that friday night so oops)

RESET the ECU!!!!! the car doesn't like the increased airflow. U have to reset the computer!!!

no its not the computer b/c mine didnt come on when i put my injen cai on. just go through the whole intake and makesure everything is hooked together good and then makesure the sensor is in the hole tight, your computer will reset itself and adapt to the intake in like 200 or 300 miles

turn on car...dont accelerate..turn off...turn bak on ..dont accelerate for 5minutes each time.....then turn off again.. and turn on car, then accelerate so the computer can get acustomed to the airflow and CHECK ENGINE SHOULD DISAPPEAR
