i was just searching rims and there isnt much good looking 17's out there i would like something similar to the gt3's or the super mesh style rims but there isnt any in 17's the closest is 16x7
I have 15s but they look nice no my car because I went from 195/60/15 to 195/50/15.
A lot of you guys choose to go up in rim size for a better look, but the better look you guys want subconsiously, is just less tire. The point I'm trying to illustrate is that you can always pick the rim size you want, and maintain the low profile look by just decreasing the number in the center.
With that said, I think you should go for the smaller rims. Why? They are lighter, so you keep your acceleration. Also tires will be cheaper. You can still maintain the low profile look by getting tire around 205/40/16, which I might add that azenis rt-615 only run for $84 a pop.

Saw some guy in a xB rocking those too...same color rims and xB, but tails were different. Really clean.
They might look clean on your ride. See if someone can photochop for you. :]

i can photochop them myself but its another thing actually having them on though. i wonder how much lower i will be with 16's. i wonder how much clearance i will have from the ground.
Ok you need some tire lesson.
The fact that you change your rim could have a possibility of changing ride height and it could not. It depends on the ratio of height to width. This is, again, the second set of numbers in your tire size. If your appropriately adjust the 2nd set of numbers and manage to keep the overall diamater of your tires with rims the same as stock then your ride height should stay the same. (I think you might have to do the math to really confirm this, but the 2nd number has everything to do with the height you asking about, that much I'm absolutely positive about)
However, if you do as I suggest above, and you lower the 2nd set of numbers to get a low profile look. You will be decreasing the overall diameter of the tire with rim.
Now as state above the 2nd set of numbers is the ratio of height to width. From stock you can figure out how much tire your adding to the tire and figure out the overall diameter. 195*.60=117mm thats the diameter of tire you are adding. So diameter of tire +117mm overall diameter of stock tire. Whatever that number is, if you keep it you'll stick to the same ride height. If you go below the number your car will be a little lower, if you go above the number it should sit a little taller.
Someone please correct me if I'm wrong, I don't have much experience with tires. So I'm just trying to understand while I explain. I might not have explain it right, but the you get the idea.

but on the topic i think 17 would look good on your car. im my view but you might have one already. but sick color man.
I don't know how to explain it any simplier....cuz its confusing to me too!! Just read the page I linked and try to understand the ratio of height to width. Then read what I talked about. Hopefully it will make more sense then
