Installing Fogs
What's the best way to run the wires to the battery?? I bought some aftermarket ones, and should I just run in through the black openings near the radiator and through there, and hide them the best I can? Also how come the LED washer link is down?? Kinda interested in that, anyways these fogs should look tight behind my grill, any information would be helpful, thanks.

I'm not sure which one you're referring to, but take a look at this one: Installing LED Washers As for the rest of your questions I don't quite know? I'm going to buy a set of aftermarket foggies myself as well, so I'll probably end up figuring it out myself. I say just do the best you can. The only tip that I can give you is to use zip ties to hold the wiring in places where it will sag.

When I had mine on, I routed the wire through the opening for the top radiator hose. The hard part is routing the wire for the switch through the firewall.
i'm currently on assignment to install aftermarket foggies in my 2k1 civic sedan ... one quick question .... should i get power from a constant 12v power source or an accessory 12v power source ?.

i would do a constant 12v source like right from teh battery , but thats jsut me. you dont need to, but that is how i have my fogs now and i have no problems. you could get away with out it but it was easy to install, took about 15 total mins to put the fogs on...

I just did mine...
I ran the Constant 12V right up along the inside of the bumper next to the radiator, it was easy enough to just drop the wire thru and fish around for it from the underside. Depending on the brand you may need to interface with the driving light switch (mine turn off when the driving lights are off). The hardest part was routing the wire from the battery thru the firewall to the console, but even that wasn't a big deal.

any 12v source will do. mine are wired directly to the battery...they dont need to be but its easy to do it that way. and theres a little opening under the front dash with a rubber cap that you can just pull the wires from the engine bay through. youll need to take off the panels under the dash and use a flashlight to see the rubber..and also youll need to pull up the carpet a little bit but its not a big deal!
good luck!
