I've got the Infinity Reference 6010cs component set and those tweeters fit with a little bit of modification to it's mounting system. The tweeters in that set are 1in....and isn't an inch like 25mm or so?
You should be able to fit it no problem. It all depends on the way you mount it. I used backstrap bent up a little bit attached to one of the power mirror nuts. That way you can sort of make the tweeter float wherever you want it to. I did need to take a die grinder to quite a bit of the plastic inside the sail as the factory tweeter is rather small. I'll take a picture tomorrow with the sails off so you can get an idea of one way to mount them. This pic might show you what I mean for now.
Alright, screw it. I went out and took a couple of pictures. It took a lot of trial and error to get the bend on the backstrap just the way I wanted it. If you're willing to spend the time you can mount just about any tweeter (less than ~ 1 inch) in these factory locations.

just got my components today and i measured the tweeter and its about and inch and a half. I have the mb quart rce213 set. Any ideas of how i could mount these on the factory locations? i dont have my car to look at right now cuz its in the body shop from an accident but waiting to get it back.
There's not enough material in those sail panels to fit a tweeter that big. The other option is to cut a hole and flush mount them on the A pillar. Or you could go ghetto style and surface mount it with some double sided tape. lol
sorry bro, 1.5 is way too big.

The tweeter in the rce213 shows up as a 3/4" to me, a 1.5" tweeter is really quite a whopper. Might want to double check the measurement, maybe you don't have tweet that is supposed to be in that reference component set. I'm not sure.
Lots of different way to mount. The backstrap method like I used would work for you. It also depends on what mounting hardware you have. Something that comes with the tweeter might fit perfectly in your sail panel, do some lining up and see how it looks.
I know I had to do some filing to get the grille to fit in the front of the sail in mine. Very fine, delicate filing that is. The grille fits in there real nice though, imo.

I was gettin worried that my tweeters wouldnt fit like you guys said so i went to the body shop and grabbed my sail panels. These fit perfect and screw into the sail itself. I dont know if you have different panels or what but there is no problem here

I put in JL xr's and they were just a tad to big. The inside of the sail panel is sloped a bit and they wouldn't sit down flush. I had to fab up some bracets to get them to fit good.
