I got a 2005 civic lx coupe and was lookin to get the panasonic CQ-VD6503U. On the panasonic site it says it will fit but the pic of the interior is not the pic of a 2005. And on sites like crutchfield and circuit city it says it does not fit my car... You guys think this will fit with the double din bezel?

if its double din then no....u gotta custom make a dash kit if thats just a CD player/radio deck then yeah i didnt bother looking but if its a touch screen non flip out nope wont fit

Got the monitor and fits perfect!! only problem im having now is hooking up the parking brake line so that it doesnt matter if the parking brake is on or not. Also on the back of the head unit there are rca inputs for rear pre amp, front pre amp, one jack for a center and ONE jack for s/w. All of my other head units have had 2 for the s/w and im not sure how to hook my rca's for my sub amp up now. any help?

ground the wire for the parking break safety feature and that will bypass it

Grounded the wire for parking brake and got my ps2 in!! Any other comments on hookin the sub up to the rear pre outs instead of the s/w pre out? (the sub pre out only has one jack)

Because so many people also think the double din wont fit and dont think i wanted to post some pics of it. I got the double din installation kit off ebay for like $20 and cut the middle bar out.

yea, i was gonna say. ive done just as many double dins as single dins into 7thgens over the years. a metra 7865 with the middle bar cut out works quite well.
