Risk running on potentially damaged shocks!??

Hey guys, so I bought a set of shocks off a member here like... 3 weeks ago or something, and I didn't check them again after I bought them till I was about to install them with a friend in my garage about a week or so ago. I noticed the front left one was kinda bent and the other ones weren't, so I tried pushing the piston in to see if it was smooth or not, and it wasn't. So my question is, would there be any major problems or harm done if I were to try to running with those on??

the other 3 shocks are fine i think, the pistons seem to go in smoothly, and don't seem to be crooked at all. i guess he's still in the process of trying to get info on getting warranty on the shock through a friend of his, but cuz my friend was all like just telling me to try installing them all and running on them I just wasn't sure. And I just don't wana risk having something go terribly wrong if I were to install them and try them out. Thanks for any help you guys give me!!

ps. and i guess if it helps, i could post pictures of the shocks and the bent one probably tomorrow or something, if it would be of any use to any of you helping me out with my question. thanks again
