HELP HELP HELP on NEX Coilover INSTALL!

Any one own the NEX coilover, please help. I installed the front and rear Nex suspension easily, but I notice the rear coilovers do not seem to be low enough even though I adjust the bottom 2 perches to the lowest level. However, the top mounting seems to able to adjust because it has threaded which mean you can turn up and down, but I tried to use the perch rench to turn it, it won't move at all. I was wonder if you guys can adjust the perch on the top. I know, it is hard to see when you don't have the picture, but please give me as much feed back as you can, thanks. NOTE: NEX coilover is so EASY to INSTALL.

in the rear you have to either have the car on the ground, or jack up the rear controller arm.

Then unlock the upper ring.

Then twist the top (NOT THE THREADS, BUT ABOVE THEM) with a set of vice-grips, or pipe-wrench, it took me awhile to figure it out....'

Also if you don't want to scratch it, then you may want to put a wrag or some sort of cloth between the teeth and the coilover...

Thanks Simkin. One last question, when you use the rench to adjust, you turn the body of the top that has thread, right? because the perch on the top is the mounting, mounted to the car so you can't turn them, right? Also, how far did you adjust the top and bottom 2 perches to keep the spring rate correct?

I have heard someone mentioned on the post of about problem of Nex coilovers, but I was not sure about the truth because I someone owned it say it break or has toe problem, and other owned and had it installed and said there is nothing wrong with them, smooth ride and no toe problem. So what is the truth? Since you own one, did you even use it, or just return it with brand new for recall. I quess you call Golden Able distributor and send the product back to them for refund, right? Also, did you get full refund back? 01Ex, give me some more feed back buddy, thanks.

I talked with Golden Apple, mainly because there is a toe out problem in the front. Which I have been able to minimalize it with the Ingall's camber kit though. It's no big problem, and they ride great - if you like the sports car kinda feel.

They said I can keep these, since I already have them installed, until their new version's come out in about 2 1/2 months, and then trade them in for the new ones. So that is what I am going to do.

The only thing I don't like is that the tie-rod likes to rub against the firewall with the car being too low, so I could only drop it an inch in the front. As far as cracking the weld's on these things, I would think that would be extremely hard. Maybe if you were to drive around with the toe-out problem uncorrected, and maybe have it too low, it could put alot of stress on them?
