Just got my car dyno'd..

well, got it back last weekend, just got around to putting all this up.. They installed an AEM UEGO a/f controller, fixed some parts of the turbo/manifold, and dyno tuned.. apparently i have a massive leak in the turbo and it can only boost a max of 2-3psi.. i'm prolly gonna ditch the SF mani and old turbo and get a new one.. we'll see what happens..

here's my setup:
SF Turbo kit (Ditched the SF FMU)
-garrett t3 super 60
-SF IC and plumbing
-Random Technologies Hi flow cat
-APEX'i WSII exhaust
-RSX-S Injectors
-APEX'i VAFC-II (i know.. not the best to tune with, but its what i had.. i'm gonna save my money and go all out with an AEM EMS)

here's the chart.. i'm a complete n00b when it comes to reading this, so any input would be greatly appreciated..

The horsepower seems correct for the mods, but the torque is pretty crazy.. i HIGHLY doubt i'm running 594.9 ft-lbs of torque.. lol.. i've looked into the SAE correction factor and since i suck at this game, i cant figure it out.. apparently it was about 72ºF that day, but i cant find any atmospheric pressures associated with that day..

I'm also throwing a P0172 CEL... how do i fix that..?

p0172 is means your getting to much fuel while your in closed loop, pull back some fuel in your narrow throttle position on the Vafc, Gotta love odb2! Other wise your numbers look about right, i normally figure about 8-10 whp for every 1 lb of boost unless your running a huge turbo. Be sure to let me know when you get back to Vegas, thats gonna make about 5 of us running around here.

GOOD LUCK~!

I think the dyno read outs are very wrong.
140whp on 2-3 psi?
That's a little too optimistic

How??? He went from 127-143 if you figure 10hp for each lb of boost...at 2 lbs that'd be 147...If anything it should be higher.

I'm not sure if it is LX or EX, but stoch whp rages anywhere from ~100-115 whp. 127whp represents the lowest hp attained during one of the dyno pulls and 147whp is the highest.

1psi = 10hp very wrong, dont use this formula if you can.
Smaller turbo will yeld less psi, than a larger turbo under the same psi.

For example, just imagine C6 vette runnig 5psi of turbo boost, doest it mean its engine has 450hp? No, most likely more.
I run 9spi on a smaller turbine and I wend from 113whp stock to 175whp.

If your getting 6.8 whp (per lb) from a TINY t25 , how is "VERY WRONG" to think that a t3 super 60 will give 8-10 whp?

With that same turbo, assuming the same gains from 2-3 psi he would be around 175 at 6 psi, while your t25 makes 175 at 9 psi

And who said anything about a c6 corvette? he has a d17! Who would put a t3 super 60 on a vette anyways?

Why not to leave your name and accept full responsibility for your comments?

Is it because you understood that you were not right and refused to accept it?

Most places are around $100 an hour or 3 runs for $50 unless they have a group day of dynoes and usually you can get 3 runs for around $25-$30
