deff if your boostin the D17 DEZOD all the wayyyy! it made 164whp on an auto on i think it was what 6psi?? 5 speeds can expect about 10-15% more.

dezod has by far the most testing hours and tuning R&D. but understand no turbo is reliable just by slapping it on. you need to build the engine for boost because really it wasnt made for it from the factory. then you need a good fuel system and engine management. and that means lots more $$$ for AEM EMS and return fuel conversion.

The important part isn't necessrily the kit or even building your motor. The important part is the tune..... You can make well over 200 whp on a stock motor safely as long as you have a good, safe tune.

Yes the quality of the components helps, but Andy and Mike are right in tuning is what provides all of the reliability. The kit is here:

BTW, our 164whp was on 5 PSI on an auto.

So long as you use good quality parts, its all in the tuning.
Crummy parts will spell disaster slowly, but a crappy tune will end the party in a hurry.
