any alternative to missing link check valve??
any alternative to missing link check valve??
Hey guys...i`ve got almost everythng required for boosting my ride...the only thing left is the missing link check valve for the MAP sensor...but i cannot find it in my town currently...its going to take couple of days if i order now...so i was wondering if there is any alternative solution to the "check light" problem
Yeah, most auto parts stores carry one way check valves. Get 3 or 3 and run some vacuum t's, connect them together and run the check valve off the ends in series, then plug it into the manifold and plug the map sensor on top. Does the same thing.
hmmm...thanks dewd...think i get what you are trying to tell...just found a pic which is close to the discription you have given...but dont you think that boost will be leaking from these check valves?? (check valves are basically one way pressure release valve right??)

Missing link is far reliable to "Chek valve" thing.

I was going to have check valves too, but ended up with ML.
For me it has less connections and lesser chance for a potentioal leak.
Bottom line, whichever is easier for you - go for it.

^^
This is a very good product.
On the paper it looks better than missing link.
I think your problem with ML was that you are running too much boost for ML to operate properly.
It worked great at 6psi on my little t25, but at 9psi it couldnt clear preassure fast enough without me modifying it a little bit.
