From what I have herd around its normal. I know everyone in my area with a B or H series swap there dash shakes and stuff does rattle. There was a post on here awhile ago about this. something to do with the motor mounts.

do you have the street or race mounts?

If your the dude who got the type r from Eric in simi valley then you have the race mounts.

the poly mounts are stiffer and the idle was a tad high when it was in his car; causing it to vibrate loudly.

Cool, Yeah it is way stiffer and vibrate alot more through the chassis. The most common and softest is the street, followed by the race for track cars, and extreme race.

Yeah you were getting all the info through your lady so you probibly didn't get that info.

Just get street mounts; hasport sells just the new poly inserts too, That way you just press the old one out and the new one in:

Yep here it is: http://hasport.com/catalog/product_i...6166a2a628d6fc

Update:

I spoke with ERIC and he said:

The front and rear mounts are ENJO: http://www.enjoracing.com
Call them about the inserts.

The side mounts are HAsport

you will have rattles, I would check the hole in the underside of the hood if you still have PS. Slight rubbing in this area was my problem, once I cut it larger I was good to go.

i've been able to drive it around and i've noticed that it vibrates between 0-2k RPM... after that its fine..

however, I did notice that the car do shake a lot when on idle, plus the idle is pretty high and has a tendency to fluctuate on its own.

my buddy has a b18c in his hatch with race mounts and it rattles like a ho. I would say its those race mounts for sure. On the opposite I know a couple guys with K series swapped vics with the normal hasport mounts and the rattling is there but not as significant

yup rattling is normal for engine swaps...especially with hasport or other aftermarket motor mounts...the bushings are thicker so it transfers all of the vibrations into the body of the car

thanks for all your help guys....it seems like my problem is a none issue and that helps clear my mind.

Another thing, how did you guy wire the hose for your PS? Mine seems to always have a kink and eventually overflows
