my civic with parada tires hummed at 40, but that was because the tires were awful

the humming sound can also be attributed to a bad wheel bearing...

Yeah, you should be running tuner lugs. You cannot run stock lug nuts with aftermarket wheels. Almost all aftermarket wheels are cone ends, while the stockers are ball ends. Also check to see if your wheels have plastic rings on the front wheels. These help install the wheel straight on the axle. Lastly, humming is most likely the cause for an out of balance situation. Are all the weights on the wheels. It is almost impossible for a wheel and tire combo to be prefectly balanced without weights.

Where did you buy them from? I had an evil experience that resulted in many of these same problems.

Wow they got the stock lugs on those wheels? Mine didnt have room for the socket to fit. Anyway get tuner lugs. I run toyo proxes Fz4 205 40 17 and they hum occasionally but it depends on the road surface.

Ever since my Konig's and new wheels have gotten put on, they hum really bad. I mean, they hum just goin like 25mph. not to mention when ya hit like 60 and higher it gets loud as ****...its weird too cause they were all balanced...but my steering wheel shakes at high speeds too so obviously they werent balanced right, or even balanced at all. Oh well I plan on taking it back to where I got them put on anyway. Hopefully tomorrow.

Hey Pounds I my tires are loud on the street I mean there LOUD but I have had a hummming niose for a long time in my driverside wheel well but It has been past 60mph. It sounds like a rubbing but nothing does. When I crack my window it goes away makes me think it is a pressure thing I don't know.
