everything is possible if you got the money and the parts............
If you dun have the part use money to make the part..........
So B16 swap will be possible....... it all depends if u want to break the

<< yea well the thing is it wont cost me 5k plus its basicaly the same engine 197hp and 200hp not much of a difference and a 2.0 ma not fit in our car so there >>
Good for you! Thats why you'll be a gear short, and your *** backwards!! The B18C5 will be the one that might not fit, considering B18C1 and B16 don't
This thread is
Geez guys...why do you say it wont fit?? You can fit a H22A in a CRX, why cant you fit a B18C in a 7g?? Just will be hella expensive, but dont say it wont work, they said FWD cars wouldnt break 10 seconds, now there is one that ran 8.12@180 mph (Steph Papadakis AEM Civic), so dont doubt things so much. Just cause hes a noob on the site, doesnt mean he dont know shiz, he could have been in the scene for 10 years already for all you know.
Wow i love how papadakis is brought up everytime about having a different engine. Do some research buddy.

"Many unique engineering and design aspects were used in the Civic Coupe .
Most notably is the Engine configuration !"

"One look is all you need to see that the H23A1 prelude engine is placed
Longitudinally !"

"Incorporating a Huge Greddy T - 88
ball bearing Turbocharger
feeding the H23A1 prelude motor
compressed air into a custom
AEM intake track feeding the
one-off Eshlemans Carbon Works
intake manifold"
Full Article for you Ignorant People that dont know what Papadakis did
I dont think anyone has the money involved to do what he did. I rest my case.

Looks like the noob-sters are at it again. If you really pull it off than props to ya, but i'll be surprised as hell if you can shoe horn that in there. Plus that thing is rotating @ss backwards, just a small problem in the list of like 300 ur gonna have to overcome. Keep us updated, then we'll talk .
Nearly anything can be swapped if you have the $$$....if you dont, then forget about it.
Props if you are willing to shell out $5k for the engine alone, and even bigger props if you actually do the extensive mods to get it in there.
Like everyone else says, pics and updates please....

Or maybe u guys should get with the CRV-tec setup. Hybrid engines, guys. Block from a DOHC 2.0L CRV fitted with a b16 head. Much much cheaper and faster than a GSR and the LSV-tec setup as well b/c of the more agressive cams from the b16.

hey blouisgod, the aem civic's are front wheel drive. They mounted the engine longitudinally so they could put bigger slicks on the front of the car. Why would these cars be a big deal if they were rear wheel drive? There are plenty of other imports that run 7's with rear wheel drive.
