Dezod does it again....(V3 results are in w/ DYNO)
Ok, first and foremost I would like to thank all of Team Dezod who was involved with making this V3 happen (you know who you are!) and Chris from 7thgen for being excellent on some feedback & essential components.
Just to recap, back on our D17 EX Auto bone stock was 90whp & 85wtq. After our V1 kit @ 8.5 PSI, we hit 147whp & 122wtq. Just to refresh everyones memory.
V2, no auto guys stepped up to the plate to help out with dyno figures, but the 5 speed guys stepped up BIG TIME! (I won't get into it; just to keep apples to apples)
V3, now this is a different ball game. This kit is in a league all of it's own. The kit was REALLY re-engineered in almost it's entirety. It had improved manifold design, improved downpipe design, improved intercooler design, new oil drain system, better turbo with NEW Garrett wheels and the possibility of the new PCS XFC Piggy Back unit to help ride partial throttle trims like a standalone and a different charge pipe design.
Onto the dyno results for Chris. Ladies and gentleman, I present to you the HIGHEST AUTOMATIC HP 7THGEN IN THE WORLD ON 5 PSI.....
Chris's numbers are the following while tuning:
149whp & 131wtq--5 PSI
157whp & 137whp--5 PSI
160whp & 139wtq--5 PSI
164whp & 142wtq--5 PSI
V1: 147whp & 122wtq--8 PSI
V3: 164whp & 142wtq--5 PSI

So that means a manual would get something like 180ish to the wheels and possibly 200 with higher boost. I hope Chris let's us know if there are any kinks with the fuel management you know how ppl had all the issues with emanage.

Awesome Dezod, keep up the good work.
It seems like you are the only person/company to care about the 7thgen. Even though I don't own a 7thgen anymore it is good to hear future people will have mods.

WHATS UP PEOPLE I AM BACK FROM THE DYNO!!!!!!As you can see the results the car is running good....We had a bit of a time at first after we figured out the charge pipe blew the coupling loose, but on that run we did 128 no boost...HAHAHAHAHA Well final result is 164.50 WHP and 141.87 TQ. First of all i want to thanks Paul and eveyone at DEZOD and Russ and James at PCS for doing the tunning over the internet while we were on the dyno.

i want your kit so bad.. im jus poor and trying to do my auto to manual swap and vtec head swap with pnp and turbo cam lol..
how much did chris pay total for his kit? im trying to figure out what i would need to come up with to get his exact setup minus the blue jet hot i would just get a regular jet hot coating.

Chris's exact kit I believe was $4610.00
You CAN make away cheaper if you buy the RSX injectors used, do just a breather filter on the crank case, don't use a boost controller and don't JH the mani.

My Tranny held up just fine, I have a tranny cooler mounted on the front bumper, if you can go the the tread that says Update on V3 kit..there are pics. I will be doing some data logging while riding around normal. The guys at PCS can see as well what the car is doing while i am driving.

Can you elaborate on this some more? I'm sure you would need to be constantly connected to the internet in your car right?
damn i might not do the k swap now.... cuz if i can get close to 200whp on my 5speed with 5-6psi i would rather do that! now how good does this new t3/t4 turbo spool what rpms? and the BOV is it a reg bov or is it the one the goes back into ur intake? and last whats the size of the FMIC? and what PCS did u go with there are 3.. thxx

Chris can answer the turbo spooling and onset question.
BOV is a TiAL one, that is atmosphericly vented, not recirculated
Our new IC is 22w x 9h x 3d
The PCS he went with is the XFC and got the works (fuel kit and map sensor)
graphs graphs graphs.
Also I believe everyone wants to know how they can check the status of your tune while you are driving around the city. I believe you said you had to be connected to the internet.
GJ though, congratz. Have fun.
