you're better off buying a cheap deck, so you can tune your sub too

Yes its possible. you just tap into the rear speaker wires to get the signal instead of running rca's from the head unit to the amp. And its been awhile since i've messed with car audio, but i'm pretty sure you don't need to run a remote wire if youre getting the signal from the rear speakers instead of rca's. then just power and ground, and you should be set.

GreatWhite02 is an unknown quantity at this point
Yes it's possible just as the guy above me noted but be aware that the bass will be crappy because you are basically amplifing a equalized signal from the stock head unit. Stock stereos have non-defeatable eq's built into them so that you do not blow the crappy factory speakers. For example, when you turn the volume up on the stock unit, your bass volume will decrease. That pretty much defies the point of a system unless you plan to drive around with the volume barely up. IMO trash the stock unit and get an aftermarket one with pre-amp outputs. The sound quality will be loads better and you can individually adjust your subwoofer level without affecting the rest of the speakers.
