Asphalt Sound Deadener?

What's up, I was looking for some cheap asphalt sound deadener that you could get at a home depot, Lowe's, etc... but can't find what they classify it as. Is it in Flooring, Roofing, etc. I just want to do my trunk with that stuff cuz it doesn't get too hot and I just have one sub but I can't remember where to find it. Thanks.

its in the roofing area near the shingles, i believe its called roof flashing, but dont quote me on it

I used Grace Ice&Water Shield which is an asphalt based roofing product. I got a 200 sq. ft roll for $120 and I used less than half during the install.

If I had the choice to do over again I would've gone with a butyl based product... I believe Grace makes a product for high temperature climates that is butyl based.

Grace isn't the only brand of it though, and your local store might have another brand. Regardless, it's just storm shield (ice and water) asphault sheeting. Be warned though, it's going to stink the car up. It has no backing, if I remember correctly. Make sure to put some type of barrier between it and the panels of your car.
