altezza grill for 01-03 civic
altezza grill for 01-03 civic
are the black, altezza grills for the 01-03 civics hard to install? ive read that you have to take the whole front bumper off, but would you have to do any cutting on the old grill to get it off? i dont want to ruin the old one so i could put it back on if i wanted to.

you dont HAVE to take off the bumper, but its a lot easier if you do. the altezza grill is a direct replacement for the stock one, so you're not gonna mess up you stock one if you put the new one in.

You may find it easier to take off the bumper cover as I think there are screws that hold the grill to the bumber that are inside and underneath that would be difficult to reach with the bumber still on. That said it isn't that hard to remove the bumber 1 screw in each wheel well, some plugs at the top of the grill, and some plugs and screw under the front lip. then you just have to pull the bumber off starting from the sides by the wheel, it just snaps off so you gotta give it some pull
