Look no further than this if your wanting instant spool and AWESOME top end, Its a GT series but with atp you can get it internally gated/t3 flanged setup. IMO well worth the 500$ extra over an OLD technology t3 journal bearing turbo. VERY little turbo lag, water cooled, dual ball bearing ect......

However, I am still not a fan of the T25 series associated turbos for other than OEM apps.

The water cooling factor is only for the center journal BB assembly.

DOOD im not trying to make an argument about this......... All im saying is GT series are MUCH better than the 1970's t3 series style turbos, whether you like them or not!T3 series turbos are on their way out, theyll be dinosaurs in 3 years or less.
Notice ALL turbos now sold by Garrett are now GT series.

Yeah I think the straight T3s will be gone too. Hybrids are the wave of the future for sure.
