So, i just bought a white 01 lx, stock everything at the moment (57,000 miles). It's a 5 speed like it should be. First thing that has to go are those damn stock wheels. My question is, most likely gonna get it painted black in the near future, (don't worry about that for now) should i get gun metal, black, gloss black or this color "hyper black" (i've never seen it in person) for the rims. Their most likely gonna be 17's (not enough rubber otherwise). Anyhow, give me some suggestions IM OPEN. If this offends you (the not automatic thing), I really dont want to hear a word you have to say. Thanks to everyone else.

I guess I don't understand what you mean by "like it should be," but alright, whatever makes you sleep at night. I have hyper black wheels, and all it really means is a color in between silver and gunmetal, but is shiny. Usually silver wheels are a flat, but hyper black is usually a more "reflective" color. Also, you said not to worry about you painting your car black in the near future, but if thats going to happen, and soon, why would you want rims that look good on white, but look like *** on black? Personally, my choice is either gunmetal or hyper black, for I have seen all of the above colors on black cars and those are my 2 favorites.

But then again, the old addage stands true:

you have to live with the choice, not us. So buy what you want, not what we want.

I really like gunmetal on dark colours.... but if your going black, Id say a glossy black.

If you do say with a white car then go hyperblack.

Then if you go with a black car I would go goldish color with a polished lip. But since that is not one of the choices... glossy back with a polished lip then.

If you have a black car I'd recommend Gloss Black wheels to make it Classy & Sporty looking at the same time Here's mine and I love it!!!
