New Gauges not working....wtf!

Ok...today I just got some Bomz Indiglo gauges and I got them on and got the needles reset, I think. When I went to turn them on.....the stock ones turned on but the indiglos didn't. I've got a good ground and power until the inverter. There wasn't any power at the switch tho which is connected to the power by the inverter.
Is there something I'm doing wrong or is the inverter bad or what?

did you try hooking to battery first? sometime the connection between inverter and gauge is bad. are you sure ground is good? is there an on/off switch, or something. or maybe you tapped the wrong power wire.

I checked the ground and the power wire with a test light and the ground is good and I have power up to the inverter.
The wires go into the inverter and all sealed, connections are in the box, and then the wires come from the invterter to the switch. All of it came wired besides plugging the gauges into the inverter, which is a black clip.

ya try and play with the clip or make sure its plugged tight. those indiglo are so crappy. they really need to spend more time on the connections. but maybe your inverter is bad.

I've got a spare Bomz inverter laying around here somewhere. I almost had the same problem as you, but mine would flicker. It was because I didn't tap the wire from the gauge cluster plug in. I emailed bomz and they had a new inverter to me in about 4 days, even though I found out later it wasn't the inverter. But they're an excellent company, they did the right thing which surprised me greatly.

I contacted the buyer from ebay and all they asked for was my address again and they're going to ship me a new one. So hopefully that will solve the problem...so now I'll have a harder time at night with only the needles...lol

What was the problem that you had? cause maybe thats what mine might be.
