Hello all, first post.... cuz well, embaressingly, this is the first problem with my car I've never been able to diagnose on my own:

I have an accord V6 with 83k miles. Very recently the car has started to make a slight grinding nose coming from under the car, towards the front. The noise only happens after the car has warmed up a while, and only when the throttle is applied. If it is in neutral or park, revving the engine will cause the noise only at the beginning of the rev, and when the engine just returns to idle, and only for a split second. I thought I may have heard it again when I turned the car off.

The noise isn't a heavy grind, and I dont think it's related to rpm. The noise will speed up with the engine, but only until the engine tachs to about 2,000 at which point it levels off.

I'm not sure what to think. It's shifting fine, no steering problems, so I started thinking CV joint, but I'm not sure.

Anyone have any ideas?
