Which O2 gauge/controller to buy????????
Here is the deal, I am putting a 50-60 shot of nitrous on my 2002 EX. I definitely want a wideband to monitor AFR. I am down to two options.
First the Altronics O2 ALERT unit (can get a lightly used unit on the corvette forum for $235+ship)
http://www.altronicsinc.com/
This unit has the capabitlity to turn off the nitrous selenoid should I run lean and it also is highly expandable so I can put it on my new vette when I get it next year and sell the civic.
The second choice is the AEM unit (Can get a new one for $260)
http://www.lethalperformance.com/pag...hite-face.html
By all accounts a nice unit but not sure if it is expandable (ie. more than one sensor can be hooked up for dual exhaust), doesnt measure RMP etc., and not sure if it has the capability to cut power upon a lean condition. (MAYBE SOMEONE HERE KNOWS THE ANSWERS TO THESE QUESTIONS?)
Anyway please give me some expert input on the options I have here. Thanks
