Engine Problem
Engine Problem
Mine is a 1.7 auto, last saturday, after a full tank of petrol refilled. i was driving around 80kmh, suddenly, the engine died. I pulled to the road side and was trying to start up, but failed. my first suspicious was bad petrol/ contaminated petrol. after abount 5 to 10 minutes, started up and try to drive again, about 1 km later, it died again. After 4 attemps, luckily able to get to a close-by workshop to check.
I think it was a general ECU checker, a lot of car on the main screen. after scanned through, it stated "TDC sensor noise error", the guy reset the error, then he asked me to drive as usual, if it fails again, then only replacement needed. he said if let say after 20-30 km driving, nothing happen, then will be fine.
it is more than 40 km travelled now, nothing happened. Any one out there having similar problem, or any advise/ comments?? reply is highly appreciated.
