Fan question

After I got home today I decided to adjust my headlights. When I was done, I went to roll my windows up. When I turned the key forward to roll up the windows (not starting the car) both fans came on for about 15 seconds or so and went off. Why is that?

Common....Somebody's got to be able to explain this to me.

yea its temp controled. im assuming you had driven the car already. the fans on our cars however only come on when the car is in ON position, unlike older models that actually turn the fans on even tho the key is removed.
