Engine Grind? wtf?

When ever I accelarate its horribly slower then usual, AND when I let the engine reduce its revs (lift foot up off gas) I hear a grinding noise, wtf?

I checked my oil and it seems ok, I can not pinpoint the sound other then the front of the engine, my engine light is on for an "emissions" error, but nothing else, it does this in all gears (I have a automatic) P/R/N/D/2

This thread is old but I'm getting that noise now too. I can usually hear it from 3rd gear and all the way down to the 1st gear. I found this topic that could be the answer as i have an odd noise wen it's in neutral but I can't post the link because I of the forum anti spam thing. Message me and I can give you the link

did you run leaded gas? the cat shouldn't just plug up like that. did you overheat the engine? burn your valves?

Sounds like the dealer is getting ready to bend you over..

The cat is going to be covered for no charge.

I don't think the dealer is doing me TO bad, I know the seals/gaskets are all bad.
