valve adjustment problems

i bought a haynes manual to adjust the valves on my 92 civic hatchback and followed the book word for word, put the car back together and now it wont start- but there is oil on 2 of my plugs after trying to start the car. please help asap

wait oil on the plugs
Look down in their with a flash light, do you see oil on the cylinders?
