alright i got a 01 civic dx. the sohc isnt enough for me and instead of selling it i want to make it a sleeper. so i was thinking about putting a k20 motor into it in the sometime future. what would i need to get the full swap? i know im gonna need a new tranny, of course the motor and friends tell me a new exhaust manifold brackets and all that ****. i wanna know where i could find a nice motor for a good price no taking chances ona junk yard motor and where i can find all this **** at and whats needed. i dont think i could but could i just put a k20 head on it or no?

Well first there are like 100 posts on k swaps on here just search. 2nd its gunna cost you more then you proably think especialy if u dont wanna get anything from a junk yard. a K20a motor online from a good site is around $6,500 the k20a2 is around $5,000, and the K20a3 is like $2,500. And there around alot of other parts that you need just some are, sub frame from rsx, k-pro($1,000), motor mounts($500), raditor from rsx or si, and axels & trany if the motor dont come with them. And there are also about 6+ more things you need. serach here for a swap parts list.
