Flirting w/Turbo purchase, have some questions
Okay, I was looking at getting the Dezod core system and then buying the rest of the parts myself becuase I can get wholesale pricing on them. So my question is, the kit comes w/these parts:
# Garrett T3/T4 Turbo
# Dezod Motorsports Custom SS Log Style Manifold
# Custom 2.5" Downpipe
# TiAL Billet BOV
# TiAL 38mm Wastegate w/ 5.88 PSI Spring (.4 BAR Spring)
# Garrett Intercooler Core w/ Custom end tanks
# Stainless Steel Charge Piping-Custom Made
# Oil Lines
# Most Fittings, Hoses, Gaskets & Clamps
# Dezod Turbo Install Kit
# Iridium Spark Plugs
The stuff I can get a great pricing locally:
-turbo Timer
-boost controller
-PCV
-EMS
-injectors
-gauges & pod
My question is with what I need to buy, what are some of the better known names for these parts I need to purchase? Am I missing anything else to buy? Are their any other threads that will help me out with this? what have been your experiences with the parts and what works best? Thanks guys.

Go custom, its much cheaper. if you going to spend 4000$+ (4500$ if you cant install/tune it yourself) you would be STUPID not to go K20a2 or even a K20a.
If your smart and shop around i bet you could get a k20a3 with a greddy or custom turbo setup for around 5000$. GOOD LUCK

I don't want to get an engine. I just want to do some pricing right now and with my contacts being able to get me parts at dealer cost, I should save a bunch of money than paying full retail. So that's why I ask the question, what are the good parts to get for this kit as I listed above.

Anyway, ask me any questions you want. Our kit is evolving into the 3rd version now as we speak, so chances are by the time your getting one, you will have a V3 kit.
