Okay, right now i have an F1 Racing 8.8lb flywheel with a Zoom clutch (from Napa) and the clutch is grabbing (engauging) wayyyy too high. Before this clutch i had bought those cheapo F1 racing clutch kits and flywheels off ebay for 260ish. It was pretty solid up until 3 days later (almost 600 miles on it, babying the hell out of it) when i decided to take on an old fart integra. Redlined 1st n 2nd then it didnt go into 3rd. Pressure plate cracked in three... But anyways, for that time it work, it felt perfect, meaning it grabbed right in the middle of the clutch stroke. But could this flywheel be the reason why its letting up so high or is this a hydraulic problem? I tried messin with the push rod on the clutch pedal side and tried all the way in and out, still let up high. Could it just be me or are some clutches like that? My cousin said that thats normal and that their self adjusting or whatever but he owns a bmw... Any ideas? Oh ya, tried bleeding the system.
