supercharger or Turbo
if your not so into power but want enough, just get an a2
edit: sorry just realized maybe u alreay have an a3...anyhow i prefer turbos but hey i guess its up to you. either way low boost with a good tune should give you nice power and not so many problems.

Put a Turbo on your K20A and run lower boost. Get a good shop to tune it and it will run safetly.
You'll make more power if not the same if you were to drop in a K20A3 with a turbo and run more psi. Plus the money you'll save swapping another motor in and out.

I'm thinking KEEP the A block, its got goodies like piston oil squirters that the A3 doesn't have, just drop a set of 9:1 pistons in it.
S/c that beast. Why would you take that engine out? I am a little baffled cause that sounds crazy. A s/c k20a is an excellent combo, they use them in the atom, the go cart on top gear that races a bike.

superchargers have an inherent parasitic loss from the fact that they are driven from the crank.
also, turbos only require a boost controller to up the boost (30 seconds).
superchargers require swapping pulleys and belts (2 hours).

revhard already wants to copy my 03 Si intercooler piping. lol. And we just swapped out the manifold and turbo we had on it for the revhard manifold and a t3/t04e with the revhard downpipe. Robs Si is gonna kick *** when were all done.
