Question 4/18*UPDATED W/PICS*Rear strut assembly...???

I got my Tokico HPs and Eibach Sportlines assembled today. When I got the rears put together the strut cap (piece that mounts in the trunk) looked tilted to one side. Is it just because the springs are new and haven't settled or are they assembled wrong. Everything is lined up just how it came apart. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Yea if you could take a pic so we could see it. It sounds as if the spring is not setted in the mounting plate correctly.

I think it's because the springs haven't settled. I marked the parts during disassembly and lined the marks back when I reassembled the struts. I just want to be sure that nothing is screwed up.

Well the top of that mount is basically two rubber bushings with a metal bushing in the middle, sooo, it's possible that the bushings aren't pushed together completely. It's also possible that everything will straighten out after it's installed on the car BUT I would definitly check out the bushings first.

I checked those two rubber bushings in the top plate, but I will double check them. But I still think it is because the springs aren't settled. I am going to remove my factory struts soon and I will compare the factory rears to my new setup. It's not like it takes much to take the rears apart if I have to. Also I know with Eibach springs, they say not to fit the spring snug against the step on the lower housing, but leavehttp://hondatuningmagazine.com/tech/...on_19_zoom.jpg a little extra room (quoted form hondatuningmagazine.com). But on the rears does this need done as well???
