What's the deal with the a/c DIY???
i tried this a few times on my 2k2 coupe si and i don't know if its working or not. i move all the ***** to the left all pointing up, i press the circulate air and a/c and hold them, start engine, hold til the lights stop blinking and turns solid. i think that's how its done. then when i move the position **** to foot and windshield and move **** to on the a/c still turns on like before and i just press a/c to turn off that light. is that suppose to happen or something else? i'm lost with this diy. thanks in advance.

After the DIY you should be able to turn off the AC when you have the upper most **** set all the way to the right (pointing down). The AC will still turn on by itself when you turn the **** to that position, it's just that now you'll be able to turn the AC off when in this position. Previously you couldn't.

o man, i see now. i thought that this diy was to stop it from going on when set to that position. i was able to turn off the a/c when in that position from day one. guess i didn't even need to do this diy. i just didnt' really understand what it was doing when i did it in my car. i guess the 2k2 has the diy done at the factory.
