air ride for daily use...
Well i just got air ride on my car, its pretty good n stuff, but the thought of driving on the highway daily at 100km/hr for 30 minutes everyday on compressed air seems kinda scary. Like what if one of the bags were to pop on the highway, i know the car wont hit the ground cuz i seen hwo the car is completely dropped and its not near the ground so im safe, but wont it spin out of control? If it doesnt spin out of control then i guess its fine for daily driving. so that is my main question. If a bag pops on the highway, what happens?
well many people dont get air ride for daily drivers just cause stuff can go wrong.. but i know a few people that have/had it ... if a bag were to play ur car may lean to one side, or u may swerve..i dunno.. lol theres nothing else i can possible think of.

if it poped on the highway it would be like ridieng on a really really bad shoc with super sagging springs. So, your gonan be out of alignment really bad but probably won't spin out. My buddy had a bag pop on him in his S10. what you really have to worry about is the compressor gogin out or something. Like with the S10 the Front end was 2 heavy to be lifted in an instant and caused the compresor to work super hard. Then it went out one day after he complelty dumped the rear end so he had to drive home 3 miles dragging A$$.
my friend a bagged tacoma...that thing was supercharged and super cool
he would drive drop the back to see sparks
..he like it so much he got a special metal bar so it would spark some wierd colors
this is nj, he said he couldnt drive it winters because the cylinders would freeze or something freezes and so he couldnt use it in winter
he drove to florida to get his work done, so moral is do your research..its a big project and the right installer can hide the components and make it look oem
oh so he bought a 2nd gen awd eclipse to drive in the winter
so only problem i see is something that freezes when its cold that doesnt allow to drive it in the summer..maybe they have special kits that combat this

it won't ever look oem unless you want about a 2 cubic foot trunk space. but make sure you run it all clean. as for driving in the winter its the fact that the air bags are rubber and if you go to ruff on them its easy to pop them because they are not warm. similar to a subwoolfer surrond in the winter. if you don't let it warm up you could port the surround because it isn't as plyable.
