immobilizer ?

so my bud is sellin a type s ecu and i'm about to grab it, but dont you also need an immobilizer also from the rsx ?? do they have to be from the same rsx like do the ecu and immobilizer have to be from the same vehicle ?? like a type s ecu from a 03 rsx and an immobilizer from a 02 ??

have your key re-programmed to the ECU you are putting in your car. Its pretty simple. Costs $90 and takes about an hour at your honda dealership.

it all depends on what state and what dealer you go to... one dealer in my area charged $200 to do it while the dealer across town charged $120... so to be safe call and find out before you go down to the dealer
