anyone try blacking out their headlight like in that pic? with the signal light reflector unpainted? How would you do this and would it look good on the car?

use soem blue painters tape to cover the reflector for the blinker. then paint it'll be jsut like theat when you're done.

i beleive one of the guys on here who just posted pix did his like that...it was a 04 mag ex with a black middle portion of the hood, mugen lip, and fog lights

I want to paint it like that and leave on the amber piece and also paint the little chrome corner on the part closer to the grill. I think tha'll look really good

i painted mines like dat...since i didnt lik the amber piece, i went and got some chrome paint and sprayed over it. if you plannin on painting the amber piece to chrome lik me, dunt spray the clear on the amber piece. the clear kills the shiny off the chrome paint. jus clear the blacked out trim. g.l. if you going to do the project.

i just got mine done today..... i just took off the amber peice.... but i notice it isnt as bright..... i might get silverstar... soo its brighter

yea cuz the amber piece is the reflecter, silverstars wont help much considering are cars come stock with them.
